Fall 2008 Billing statements are available online and will also be mailed by July 9, 2008 with a payment deadline date of August 1, 2008. The balance, if any, can be satisfied through one or a combination of the following: (1) cash, credit card or check payment, (2) additional loans or other financial aid, (3) third party support (also due by 8/1/08) or (4) deferred payment arrangements. If you have accepted aid that has not been authorized, you should contact the Office of Financial Aid at 443.885.3170.
With regard to deferments, if your current amount due is 20 percent or less of the total bill, you may apply for an automatic deferment with the University. The form can be downloaded at www.morgan.edu/admin/Bursar/Defer_Payment.pdf. This form must be faxed, e-mailed or delivered to the Office of the Bursar on or before August 1, 2008. For amounts greater than 20 percent of the total bill, you may also request an installment plan through Sallie Mae/AMS Services, a convenient online service. Reminder: These plans are for the entire school year; therefore, you should include any shortfall for the spring semester in your contracted amount. You should visit www.tuitionpay.com for more information. The deadline for the Sallie Mae/AMS service plan is July 25, 2008.
